Provenance : Shipwreck Treasure of Hoi An
Viet Nam Ming Dynasty, around 1430

Very quickly was sent on a barge excavation to proceed with the estimation of the importance of the site and eventual excavations. This research concludes that a joncque sank in 1432 near Hoi An during a diplomatic trip to China, sinking with thousands pieces of ceramics.
